KOR SENIORS WELLNESS SEMINARS

The long standing project that is chaired by Sir John Gano has served the valued seniors of the Filipino-Canadian Community of Winnipeg since it's inception in 2005.  Seminars have dealt with such topics as healthy living, prescription medications, management of chronic diseases, gambling addiction, and so on.  The program was placed on hiatus between 2010 to 2012 when the Chapter concentrated on the implementation of the elder abuse awareness program, ICAPEA.  The seminars resumed again in 2013, with a health seminar and to celebrate Senior's Month.
